The iPhone company lost 438 crore rupees in the protests, Apple in the investigation

The iPhone company in Bangalore, India, has lost Tk 438 crore in protests by workers demanding pay. the corporate has claimed that there’s no trace of the phone worth Rs 1.5 crore. Apple is sending a special team to research the allegations.

Anandabazar newspaper reported that workers of Western Corporation, an iPhone maker in Bangalore, had recently staged a protest against the non-payment of salaries. The factory was assail fire along side vandalism.

This special team will investigate the entire incident jointly with the local administration. it’s been said, ‘Regular communication is being maintained with the local administration. Apple will fully cooperate within the investigation. A team of auditors are going to be sent along side that. they’re going to check the quantity of injury .

According to a complaint filed by Western Corporation, the corporate lost Tk 412.5 crore within the incident that day. The list of losses includes phones and phone parts worth Tk 10 crore. there’s a golf cart and car worth 10 lakh rupees. Besides, smartphones worth Tk 1.5 crore are stolen separately.

The report said that the police was examining the CCTV footage of the incident.
